Welcome to Axiom Interactive Media (A.I.M.). By engaging our web development, design, or marketing services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
A strictly non-refundable deposit of R1000 is required before any development, design, or project work commences.
This deposit secures your position in our development queue and covers initial research and setup costs. If a project is cancelled by the client at any stage after work has begun, the R1000 deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Final Payment & Default: Once the website or project is completed and launched, the outstanding balance must be paid in full within one calendar month. If no payment is made within 30 days of the website's launch, the website will be immediately taken down and suspended. Services will only be restored once the outstanding balance is cleared in full.
Payment Withholding: By authorizing the launch of the website, the client signs off on its design and functionality. Final payment cannot be withheld or delayed beyond the 30-day period due to subsequent requests for changes, newly discovered preferences, or subjective claims that the website feels "outdated".
All projects will adhere to a pre-agreed scope of work. We aim to ensure you are completely satisfied with your digital asset prior to launch. Requests that fall outside the original agreed-upon scope during the build phase will be quoted and billed separately.
Post-Launch Updates: Any design changes, structural updates, or new feature requests made more than one month (30 days) after the website's official release date will be treated as a new project and will incur additional charges at our standard rates.
A successful project requires timely communication. The client agrees to provide all necessary materials (such as text copy, branding assets, images, and login credentials) in a timely manner. A.I.M. cannot be held responsible for project delays caused by a lack of client communication or delayed delivery of required assets.
Axiom Interactive Media engineers proprietary digital solutions. A.I.M. retains full intellectual property rights, copyright, and ownership of all underlying code, structural layouts, design architectures, animations, and custom scripts created during the project in perpetuity.
Upon full and final payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the compiled website for its intended business purpose. The client retains full ownership of their own pre-existing brand assets (logos, specific text copy, and provided photography).
The client may not resell, duplicate, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying code or design template for use on other projects or domains without explicit, written permission from Axiom Interactive Media.
A.I.M. reserves the right to showcase the completed project in our portfolio, social media, and marketing materials unless a specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed prior to the project start.
Axiom Interactive Media provides a fully managed digital service. Website hosting, initial domain name registration, and basic monthly maintenance are fully included in your final billed project price.
A.I.M. manages the technical infrastructure, server uptime, and essential security updates to ensure your digital asset performs optimally. Please note that domain registrations and hosting server costs are typically billed on annual cycles; after the initial agreed-upon period (e.g., the first 12 months post-launch), standard renewal rates will apply to keep the website live and maintained.
Axiom Interactive Media engineers websites to the highest modern standards. However, we cannot guarantee that the functions contained within any web page or website will always be error-free or completely immune to third-party hacking. We will not be liable for any lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of the operation of, or inability to operate, the website.
The payment of the initial R1000 deposit constitutes an active agreement to these Terms and Conditions. A.I.M. reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
